There’s no one-size-fits-all timeline when it comes to therapy, everyone’s path is unique. Some people come for a few months to work through a specific challenge, while others choose to stay longer for deeper healing and ongoing support.
The length of your therapy will depend on several factors, including:
Your current stressors and life circumstances
Past experiences or trauma you may be processing
The support systems and self-care tools you have in place
The goals you’d like to achieve
Your readiness and ability to engage in the work—both in and outside of sessions
Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll regularly check in to ensure it continues to meet your needs. Whether short-term or long-term, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
